Supreme Court upheld Alkhas Kvitsinia's complaint
The hearing of the cassation board on administrative cases and administrative offenses of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Abkhazia has ended.

Sukhum. January 10. Apsnypress. The Supreme Court of Abkhazia held a hearing of the cassation board on administrative cases and administrative offenses of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Abkhazia composed of judges Leah Adleyba, Ekaterina Onishchenko, chaired by Temur Tarballs.
 
 The court of cassation examined the complaint of the plaintiff's representative  - candidate for President of the Republic of Abkhazia Alkhas Kvitsiniya on the decision of the Supreme Court of September 20, 2019 on the claim for invalidating Decision of the Central Election Commission on the results of the election of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia. Representatives of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Abkhazia - Dmitry Shamba and Givi Gabniya, representative of the interested person, the elected President - Valery Agrba, as well as lawyers representing the interests of the latter in court were not present at the hearing.
 
 According to the results of the court hearing, the cassation collegium quashed the decision of the Supreme Court of September 20, 2019 and made a new decision.
 
 According to the announced operative part of the ruling, the administrative statement of claim of Alkhas Kvitsiniya is fully satisfied.
 
 The election of President of the Republic of Abkhazia of September 08, 2019 was declared invalid, and the protocols of the CEC of September 09, 2019 were invalid as well.
 
 The court of cassation of the Central Executive Committee of the Republic of Abkhazia ordered the re-election.
 
 The ruling of the cassation instance court of January 10, 2020 comes into force from the moment of its proclamation.
