There were submitted 48 works in total.
As Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Abkhazia, Medea Chengelia, reported, the competition has been held for the third year in a row. According to her, this is a very important event for the development of schoolchildren: “Children are attached to science, acquire new knowledge, they have independent thinking, they develop research skills.”
This year, the work of schoolchildren was assessed by the jury, which included representatives of the Abkhaz Institute of Humanitarian Studies, the Abkhaz State University and the Ministry of Education and Science of Abkhazia.
One of the interesting works presented at the competition was a robot, which was collected by a pupil of Pitsunda secondary school №1 Rashid Kudzhba. “This is my first job. The robot I assembled is designed to help people with disabilities. It makes their lives easier and helps them not to make unnecessary movements. My team-mate can bring the necessary thing if you put it in a special compartment, ”- he said. Rashid learned how to make such robots in Gagra boarding school, in the classroom of robotics.
The results of the competition will be announced on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Abkhazia.
