CEC summarized the preliminary results of the election of deputies to the People's Assembly of the Parliament of Abkhazia
Sukhum. March 13. Apsnypress. Damey Kaslandzia. At the press center "Parliamentary elections - 2017" , the chairman of the Central Election Commission Tamaz Gogiya announced preliminary results of elections of deputies to the People's Assembly of the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia.
Tamaz Gogiya informed about the results of the voting: "From 20:00, after the end of the election, until 5:00 am the CEC received information on the voting results. Elections were held everywhere, except for the 17th district. In 12 districts winners are defined, in 22 will be held second round of voting. Additional lists were not affected. More than 40% of voters voted. The date of the 2nd round will be determined within 2 weeks. Elections passed well, the CEC and observers conducted quality work".
Gogiya also reported on irregularities in the voting: "Of the 3 districts, complaints were received on the counting of votes, but CEC representatives left and solved the issues on the spot. In particular, they tried to take out the main urn from the hall in order for the patient to vote. This categorical is prohibited, and was immediately suppressed. There were not revealed special violations that affected the course of the election".
